Marc and Nancy Roland

Marc and Nancy Roland started the winery in 2008 in Longview, Washington. An unlikely location in Southwest Washington known as the planned city of founder, R.A. Long. A mill town in the rough and tumble West where more likely than not, you might find moonshine, not wine. That was before their time, but much has changed since 1923, including a changing economy and a vibrant vision for a more diverse and culturally enriched place to live.

Co-founder Zak Roland

Zak Roland

Zak Roland is the second generation of Roland’s that have embraced the idea of a wine and food culture in our community. He is the architect of the wood-fired pizza idea, bringing authentic Italian pizza to this place.

Dream Team

Family

Roland Wines is family owned and operated. We are bringing up a new generation of artisans who will carry on the tradition of hospitality, quality, and service to the greater Cowlitz County region

An Intimate Evening with Carl Wiirkala

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, singer-songwriter Carl Wirkkala brings to life tales of ghost towns, trains, and lonesome drifters through his music. A fifth generation logger, he also has penned several tunes drawn from his many years of working in the woods.

The core of Wirkkala’s music is based around the art of songwriting. With a musical style driven by guitars, bass, drums and steel guitars, the music hearkens back to the stylings of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Billy Joe Shaver, Bob Dylan and Townes van Zandt.  Wirkkala does play covers of the songwriters he admires, but brings to life his own songs with a raw and driving sound. His lyrics utilize both a poetic and descriptive technique that avoids the normal country cliches. He has been writing and performing for 20 years and has 8 studio albums with another on the way featuring his new band, The Whistle Punks.

Ticket are limited to 35 people in order for attendees to get a front of stage experience. No tickets available at the door
